RETURN to Satan and His Plan of Evil

Chapter 3 - Satan's Policy of Evil as the "Prince of the World"

SUMMARY

In response to God’s declared intentions to destroy the implementation of Satan’s plan of evil on this earth, Satan instituted a policy of evil by which he would be firmly in control over the affairs of this earth, and able, therefore, to deal with any of God’s activities in his usurped domain. This policy of evil charted a course for this world that would see man’s own sinful nature and enmity against God catered to, along with also seeing to it that man further distanced himself from God through ungodly abominations that effectually served Satan. By so instituting this policy of evil Satan’s desire has been to thwart God’s ability to utilize man as He has said He would.

Satan immediately put his policy of evil into effect with Cain and those of his seed, then intensified it by the actions of some of his angels in the days of Noah, and deployed a further aspect of it with the incident of the tower of Babel. With all of this Satan succeeded in putting this world on the course of his own design, and appeared to have clearly strengthened his grip on ‘his domain’ and rendered it impregnable. Though God responded by giving up the nations, He manifested in turn the unspoiled nature of His own plans with the calling out of Abram and the revelation of how He would make him into His own great nation.
